Hands-on courses to train neonatal providers in the performance of high stakes procedures.
Hand-on course teaches peripherally inserted central catheter placement including indications, contraindications, common PICC sites, equipment and supplies, insertion and securement techniques, as well as troubleshooting and follow-up.
Hands-on course teaches neonatal ETT intubation, needle thoracentesis, placement of pigtail catheters and chest tubes, lumbar puncture, peripheral art line and umbilical line insertion, abdominal paracentesis, and bladder tap.
This hands on course teaches use of the defibrillator for cardioversion, defibrillation and pacing in neonates.
